Here is some quick tips to find a job fast. A good paying job is very important in today’s harsh economy.

Tip#1- Always start your job search online if at all possible. The reason for this being most jobs worth having are listed on the web. You can visit places like Monster or Career Builder to post a job application to massive amounts of hiring companies at once. The companies posting jobs on here are more likely to provide superior wages and benefits over other methods.

Tip#2- Like the first tip the second one is online as well. Check out your local government websites because nearly everyone of them has a place to find jobs in your area. Theses are great resources for finding local jobs that pay good and have great benefits. You will also find in some areas that this local job search will provide local government positions that are in need of hiring.

Tip#3- If you need to pick up your local newspapers and hit the classified section then do so. Most larger newspaper publishers will have a nice selection of local hiring jobs to pick from. This is the classic method of finding work quickly.

Tip#4- Try your local phone book and get a hold of temporary employment services in your area. Temp services should be one of the last resorts. This is effective for finding a job fast but it yeilds low end employment that usually does not last long.

Tip#5- Do it the old fashioned way. Get in your car, on your bike, or even start walking around to local businesses. Many places of employment still hang signs that they are hiring and you can also get hundreds of job applications at once. The catch is you have to fill them all out by hand. Then you need to return the applications to the places you got them from.

Finally you can visit a website to get a Good Paying Job!

It is important that when you are recruiting people to fill a role in your organisation that you find the best person for the role. The list of ways to find potential candidates can be limitless and it is important that you look at a variety of sources as part of your recruitment campaign.

If you are currently embarking on a new recruitment campaign to hire new staff you may want to consider the following list of options to find new candidates:

1. The first place to look will be within your own organisation. People who already work in your organisation are already familiar with the working processes, policies and environment. Recruiting from within can also work out less expensive compared to recruiting externally.

2. You can also send out are speak to your own network that includes family, friends and business contacts that you are actively recruiting. They may be able to refer someone to you. By casting out your net you increase your chances of finding a candidate that can fit the role.

3. Temporary staff that are already working for your organisation are a good way of hiring new candidates for a full time role. The advantage that you have is that temporary staff are already working for the organisation. Even though they are on a temporary contract, the limited time they have spent with the organisation can give you a good indication if they are a hard worker, have the skills to do the job and fit within the culture of the organisation.

4. If your organisations work within a specific or specialised industry such as medicine or law then, there are professional associations that promote the interests of these industries. They will have a wide range of communication materials such as newsletters, magazines and journals that you can place an advertisement in. This can be very effective as you will be targeting highly relevant groups.

5. You can use employment agencies at the beginning of your recruitment campaign or when your internal search has not come up with any viable options. Employment agencies can be expensive so you need to be clear about what you want to achieve with them. If the role you are recruiting for is highly specialised then, you will probably need to use a head hunter or executive search firm in order to find the right candidates for the interview.

6. Another popular method is advertising media. This can be an expensive option however, if it is highly targeted it can be very effective in getting a number of potential candidates. Certain organisations rely on recruitment advertising only.

I grumpily survey my Monster resume stats. Despite my diligent efforts (like updating resume every day to ensure high circulation), only 12 people have looked at my resume since I posted it six weeks ago. For a moment I’m afraid that I’m just not qualified, that my resume sucks, that I’ll never find another decent job again. As usual, my friends come to my rescue. It turns out I’m not alone. Several friends who are also using major job search engines have the same complaints, and my friend Celeste, who recently found a high paying job working in marketing, has a solution.

“Potential employers get lost sifting through resumes on the bigger sites. It’s a better idea to find a job board that plays up to your individual skills. The employers who go to that site obviously value your skill above all, and are probably willing to pay for it.”

Apparently more and more people have the same idea as Celeste. Specialized, or ’boutique’, job boards are a growing trend.

“Providing employers with a specific resume pool is not a new idea. Headhunters have been around since the 50′s or before, but they only accept resumes from top executives. The internet has opened up the doors to the rest of the workforce, who are beginning to understand that their own skills are often just as specific and merit the same kind of specialized services.” says Joyce Svitak, who started BilingualCareer.com in 2003. Joyce’s site operates the same way Monster does: jobseekers get free services, but corporations pay money to have access to a pool of applicants who are more closely matched to their profile.

Not bilingual? About.com and other directories offer forums for almost every thing under the sun. Most professions have affiliated professional associations, which range from the broad (Professional Association of Teachers) to the obscure (The Northern California Book Publishing and Marketing Association). Association websites generally have links to specialized job boards, discussion groups, and other skill appropriate job forums.

Shortly after talking to Celeste I luck out and find a job through a specialized job board. I tell my unemployed friend Candy about this.

“That’s all very well for you, but what about a job board for my special skills…um…blogging? eating too much pasta? reading comics?”

Unemployment brings along with it numerous other personal problems. The whole family is affected by the unemployment. Family finances go haywire and it becomes difficult to do any future planning. It tends to be associated with poverty and indebtedness. And if there are contingencies then it can compound the problems for the unemployed person. It is said that when your fate closes one door then it opens another. Cash loans for the unemployed represent the other door.

What is a cash loan for unemployed?

A cash loans for unemployed is a one of its kind financial product that provides instant cash loans for the jobless individuals to meet the contingencies at the earliest.

It is a very useful financial option for the unemployed considering his/her loan needs and time by which he/she needs it.

Why are the lenders giving such loans?

An unemployed person, because of his poor financial condition and absence of a stable source of income is considered risky when it comes to offering such loans. The main concern is about the borrower’s ability to repay the loan in full. Since the borrower is already struggling in managing his finances he/she is seen as someone with less financial ability. It is in common knowledge that the interest rates and the risk associated with a portfolio are inversely proportional. Lenders charge a high interest rate on these kind of loans and that is precisely the reason why these loans are so popular among the lenders.

More about cash loans…

Cash loans do not discriminate on the basis of status of employment as is perceived by some. The high interest rate takes care of the risk associated with lending to an unemployed person.

These type loans have gained a negative standing for being very expensive. The high interest rates and the high late fees have contributed to this. The borrowers should analyse the advantages that cash loans have and put them in perspective while looking at the cash loans. So the disadvantages should not be looked at in isolation.

Advantages of cash loans for the unemployed

Speed: Cash loans make the funds available to the unemployed very fast. Since the borrowers most of the time need the money urgently and they have to meet contingencies this helps them a lot.

Loan approval irrespective of the credit history: Lenders give loans to the borrowers irrespective of their credit history. This ensures that the borrowers get a loan even if their credit report shows defaults.

The amount of money that the cash loans for unemployed give access to is smaller. In the general sense of the term, a cash loan is used as a payday loan by people who are employed, as an advance on their next paycheque. In case of the unemployed borrowers, since there is no stable source of income on which to base the cash loans for unemployed, the borrowers are allowed to repay the loan after they hope to regain employment.

Cash loans for unemployed, as mentioned above carry a higher interest rate. Since it is a short term loan, being charged a high rate of interest is no rarity. Sometimes the interest rates are pushed further northwards citing the unemployment factor. So it would be wise on the part of the borrower to choose a lender who offers cash loan for unemployed at standard rates.

A last word:

The borrowers should try to follow a standard selection procedure and weigh the various loan options very rationally. Since the time taken by the lenders to approve the loans is crucial the borrowers should try to survey the time taken by the lenders to process a loan. There could be a tradeoff between the time taken to process a loan and the quality of service from the lenders.

Whether you’ve just finished college or are looking for a career change, the best way to find a job is not the way you’d expect, nor is it the way you have been taught. For most of us, the only ways we know to find work are looking at the classified ads or searching the online job boards. However, these are the least effective methods of getting into the career of your dreams.

You’ve probably heard the expression, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know and this applies to finding employment just as much as it does to any other field in life. In fact, it’s something which employers are now actively encouraging. Yes, that’s right – they are asking staff to recommend their friends for vacant posts! And in some cases even rewarding them when they make a successful introduction.

This method has advantages for both employers and employees; the employer saves on advertising and is likely to get a better match for the job than if he’d placed an ad. And the potential employee has the advantage of being able to ask her friend for the lowdown on the company. You can ask the type of question which would be inappropriate at an interview, but which might reveal crucial information which could influence your decision. You can spend as much time as you like asking about every aspect of the job and if you forget anything, you can ring your friend with additional questions. This will put you in a strong position at the interview, as you’ll have detailed information about the company, its products and services and the culture in which you’ll be expected to work.

But what if you don’t know anyone who works for a company you’d consider applying to? The secret is to build a strong network. Irrespective of your current situation, you should start doing this immediately. Even if you aren’t thinking of moving jobs just yet or have just started your final year at college, the sooner you start networking, the better.

If you are still in college, make sure you build up plenty of contacts amongst your fellow students and professors. If you aren’t yet in your final year, get to know students who are, through parties and societies. Friends who are already out there in the market place could be very useful to you when you graduate.

If you are looking for a change of career or getting back to work, decide what you want and then talk to as many people as possible about it. Obviously, you don’t want to talk too much, as this will bore your friends. However, make sure everyone knows what you are looking for. Get some business cards printed so that they can pass these on to anyone who might be in a position to employ you.

Other effective ways of building a network are visiting job fairs. These are often targeted at recent graduates, but there are others which are more general. Keep an eye on the local press, ask at your local employment office and search online for suitable events in your area.

You can also use social networking sites and sites specifically designed for networking, although the latter usually involve a small fee. Look out for local networking events as well, as these will give you the opportunity to meet new contacts fact to face and build rapport, an important step in your job search strategy.

We humans periodically stop and take stock of many parts of our lives – and one that frequently gets reevaluated is our career (or, if we’re not lucky, our job). Most of us spend a huge portion of our waking hours at work yet haven’t given what we do much thought since we landed our first jobs.

And, if you have held the same job since graduation, you may be living out the dream of your 18 or 21 year old self. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t trust my career to the decisions of even the world’s best teenager.

There are many ways at looking at work or careers, there is the old way exemplified by T.S. Eliot who said “For us, there is only the trying. The rest is not our business.” A more modern take on the subject comes from Timothy Ferris’ book “The 4-Hour Workweek” where he says “I won’t ask you to choose between enjoyment today and money later. I believe you can have both now. The goal is fun and profit.”

You need to decide whether you want to live your life according to T.S, Eliot or Timothy Ferris. I know what I would choose.

If you think you may be in a job or career that is not the one best suited to the life you want to live, rate your current position based on the following criteria, using a scale of one to ten (lowest to highest). 1 is absolutely terrible and 10 is perfect – and the job doesn’t exist that gets all 10′s.

1. What opportunities do I have for growth?

2. What opportunities are there for the day-to-day challenges that I cherish?

3. How much opportunity do I have to interact with others, do long range or strategic planning, write, think, get out in the field, or do whatever else it is that turns me on?

4. Is the corporate culture one that I am comfortable with?

Your answers to these questions will give you some telling insight into which of the following applies to you:

o You can probably use negotiating techniques to make your current position meet all your criteria without making a move.

o You’re probably very unhappy where you are and should be putting out feelers shortly so you can make a move within a short time.

o You should begin to consider your options. Unless you can make major changes where you are you probably won’t ever be satisfied there.

o Now is the time to make a move – you’re committing career suicide!

Nowadays, looking for a job is easy; this is because of the tools available online. One effective tool for job hunting is job search engine. It allows you to look for job vacancies on a certain area or even globally. What these job search engines do is create a bank of jobs, which came from different companies. Then, they categorized the collected data so that job seekers can easily locate a job appropriate for them.

This also provide convenience to job seekers since the search process has been narrowed down into just job listings instead of using a regular search engine that may provide you a long list of results and some may not even be associated with the job you are looking for.

Another advantage of using job search engines is their large job bank. If you are looking for job and does not have restrictions on the job location, then using job search engines is good for you.

Unlike the job ads in newspapers, which can only provide you limited search ads and you cannot go back to the ads posted the other day, job search engines provides a wide range of selection and are searchable as long as the job is still offered by the company. However, some job search engines are limited only to certain regions or countries so you may want to check the services offered before choosing a job search engine.

Job search engines are also easy to use because all you have to do is using the search box. They even list the job per category so you can also view all job listings for a specific job position. Some job search engine also great features offered by, which will make your job-hunting much easier. These include:

o	Free resume posting. Job search engines often allow you to post your resume. Then, the job search engine will use this information so it can identify which job is right for you. Instead of looking for a job yourself, the job search engine will send you an email with the list of new job posting which matches your preferred job, credentials and work experience (based on the resume you posted).

o	View company profile. Knowing the background of the company that you are applying for is important so that you know if you share the same vision with what the company has. Also, from the profile, you can see what the company can offer to you. This can help you decide if you really would like to be part of the company before even applying to them. You can also make comparison among companies if ever they posted same job openings. Thus, you can first collect and just select the best later on.

o	Customizable search. If you would like to narrow your search and would view only job openings that meet your preset criteria, utilizing the customizable search can do this. Criteria can be job location, expected salary, schedule preference, category search or employment type.

o	Get job advice. Some search engine sites even extend their help by providing tips and advice about your job or job hunting. You can look up for articles about resume writing, preparing for an interview, etc. You may even send an email to them or chat with their agent about a problem you are having with your job or if you are having difficulty looking for a job.

With the many services and features of job search engines, they can effectively help you in landing to your dream job.

Need work? Can’t find a job? Discover a Technique Guaranteed to Land you a Job in 17 days or less!

It is being reported that over 3.5 million people have lost their jobs since the economy began to weaken in 2007. Are you one of those millions that is out of work and can’t find a job? Don’t despair. There is a job out there for you and I’ll show you how to get results in 17 days.

Here are some ways to get started if you can’t find a job:

Quit wasting your time checking the classified ads in the newspaper or on the internet. The best jobs that pay well are less advertised than most jobs that you see on the Internet or in the paper. Why’s that? The horrible jobs, you know the ones, the jobs that everyone hates are most often found in the newspaper and online. These consist of jobs like telemarketing and MLM positions.

Instead, draw up a list of the type of jobs that interest you. Then, visit those companies that are likely to offer those kinds of jobs. If you can not go to the company directly, visit their web site and look for job opportunities. Most large, established companies do very little job advertising and rely on paid recruiters or their web sites to handle new hires.

Make it a point to apply at larger companies and well established local companies. If economic problems continue, larger, well established companies will usually hire new employees long before smaller companies do.

Have you been out of work for a while, If you can’t find a job and need a job fast, check out Guaranteed Jobs and discover Job Search Techniques Guaranteed to Land you results in 17 days or less!

Before you apply for any position ask for a copy of the job description for the particular position for which you are interested. If you do not meet the minimum requirements or experience for the position being offered call the company and inquire if your experience and skills would be considered if you do apply. Some companies will not waiver from their stated requirements. Others may accept limited or alternative experience.

Today, with the vast information on the Internet, it is almost impossible not to find a great amount of information about any organization. A few basis facts you should know before you interview is the correct name of the company, who owns it, and how it operates. Applicants are not expected to know everything about a company but a bit of accurate information mentioned during an interview speaks loudly that you have “done your homework” and that you are very interested in joining the organization.

If you have a computer, input the company’s name into a search engine. Most companies have a website that you can check out. You will undoubtedly find a wealth of information. Research what issues the company is facing. Check the financial status of the company. Is the company profitable, how long has it been in operation, have there been any recent layoffs and why? Has the company grown over the years or is it struggling? Search for news stories connected to the company. You will probably find recent information related to projects, promotions, and general data about the workings of the organization. All that information can help you to decide if that is where you want to hang your hat!

If you do not have a computer you can still request financial reports, advertising material, brochures and publicity from the company itself. These will give you a picture of what the company manufactures, its size, earnings, growth trends, latest projects, and the number of employees. For a personal take on the organization you can seek out and talk with employees of the company. Ask questions, note reactions and watch for body language. State that you might like to work for the organization and listen to the employee’s response. If you hear an enthusiastic response that is great, negative talk, be leery. Ask about the company’s turnover rate. Turnover is a big factor in revealing how the company is managed. If employees are leaving before they have completed one year of employment that is a good indication of a high turnover rate. That may mean there are problems within the company, poor management or general dissatisfaction with company rules or procedures. If turnover is low that is an excellent sign that the benefits are good, the management if employee oriented and the employees are content and satisfied.

Review everything you have accumulated about the business and pay particular attention to the company mission statement, goals and objectives.

During your interview, when discussing the information you have learned, speak in an assertive manner about how you can commit to the company programs. Talk about the projects that you have been successful with in your personal work history. Be sure to provide ways in which you can bring those same successes to the company based on the issues and problems they are currently encountering.

A little knowledge about the company at which you are applying can go a long way toward making you an especially attractive candidate!
